I'll be with you every step of the way as you plan your elopement! I'm always available to discuss your vision, ideas, and dreams for your big day. I’m also happy to help you plan locations from unique rental ideas, to more adventuresome outdoor locations!

From there, we will work together to finalize the details of our photography timeline. This will include things like travel time between locations, outfit changes, and working around any friends or family who may be joining you.

02 // Planning Phase

When the moment we’ve all been waiting for finally arrives, and it’s time for you to make it official – I’ll be there with you every step of the way documenting it all happen!

I typically arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in, and from there I’ll follow our pre-planned photography timeline. Throughout the day, if our plans need to shift due to things like unpredictable weather or unexpected schedule conflicts, I’ll always be flexible + we’ll work together to keep your day as stress-free as possible!

When the time comes for my photography coverage to wrap up, I’ll always check in with you first to make sure we’ve covered everything before heading out.

03 // Elopement day

Within a week of your elopement, I'll deliver a sizable amount of sneak peek highlights that recap the day. From there, my typical delivery time for an elopement is 4 months.

Once you’re officially booked, I’ll send over my custom Kortni Maria Wedding Guide which is filled with helpful information from my many years of experience photographing weddings! 

About 2 months before your wedding day, I'll send you a questionnaire that will cover all of the details and information I need on my end to successfully document your special day. From there, we will work together to create a custom photography timeline that will be crucial to making sure we have time to capture everything as well as keeping the flow of your day smooth and stress-free!

02 // Planning Phase

With each Wedding Collection, I offer a complimentary engagement shoot! This allows us time to work together before the big day, and it helps with getting comfortable in front of the camera. Many of my clients will also use their engagement photos for wedding details! 

We’ll work together to select a date and location for your shoot, and I’ll provide everything you need to know going into the session, including my What to Wear Guide!

Once you officially book your Adventure Session, I'll send you a simple questionnaire that will cover all of the details and information I need on my end to successfully document your session. From there, we will work together to finalize the details of our photography timeline. This will include things like travel time between locations, outfit changes, and hiking time (if applicable) – all working around the best possible lighting scenarios.

Once we have worked together to select a date, time, and locations for your shoot, I’ll provide everything else you need to know going into the session, including my What to Wear Guide!

Anywhere + everywhere! I’ll be wherever you and your love are, ready to capture every moment.

I’m based in the Adirondacks, New York and central Florida. I offer complimentary 200 miles (roundtrip) of travel, beyond that I charge $0.50 per mile for travel within the North East and Florida. All additional travel costs such as over-night lodging are covered by my clients. Please inquire for more details + options!

Outside of the North East and Florida, my flat rate is $1,000 for travel within the United States, and $2,000 for international destinations.

Yes, of course! The only photos I do not deliver are ones where you are blinking, any that are out of focus, or any photos that are unflattering. I shoot approximately 50 - 75 images per hour, but the actual amount of photos I take will depend on the overall nature of the day.

I do not limit how many photos you receive. If it’s a good photo with a good moment, I will deliver it!

I’ll send you a good amount of high quality sneak peeks within one week of your wedding, elopement, or session! After that, you should expect up to 6 months for your wedding images, up to 4 months for your elopement images and 1 - 2 months for any other sessions to be delivered via a beautiful online gallery where you can download all the high-quality images.

The short answer to this questions is that my creative process takes a lot of time and patience. I am passionate about having consistency in 100% of my work, and every photo I deliver will have the whole of my creative process in it. What I've found to work best for me includes hand editing each image without the use of batch editing or AI techniques to ensure each and every photo is consistently amazing.

While some photos will be more meaningful than others, and certain moments, angles, or subjects will be "all-star" images, my goal is to have each and every photo in your final gallery to be of an equally high standard and worthy of cherishing for the rest of your lives. From the smallest details to the most shining moments, I will put my all into editing each and every image from your day. Ultimately, from backing up files, to culling, to editing, to exporting/uploading, the start-to-finish process typically takes a minimum of 80+ hours per wedding gallery. While juggling the seasonal nature of weddings, the editing can be very time consuming, but compromising the quality of your gallery for the sake of shorter deliver times is simply not an option for me.

As I have grown in my craft over the years, this is admittedly a considerably longer process for me from even just a few years ago and I recognize that this may be a longer timeframe than that of the average wedding photographer. This is, however, what it takes for me to produce the unique quality of work that I believe my clients hire me specifically for!

Yes and no. You have all the rights to share the photos online and with your friends or family as well as print as many as you’d like for personal use. The photos are totally yours to do what you like with!

However, I do retain ownership of the copyright to all the images and monetizing your photos in any way will be prohibited in our contract.

I follow industry standard protocols to backup my work and keep all of your precious memories safe. I always shoot on two memory cards at the same time to ensure I have an immediate backup. When I get home from a session or event, I backup all of the images to 3 separate high-quality locations to ensure safe-keeping up until delivery time.

I do not change my shooting or editing style based on people’s preferences. My clients hire me because they love my work and art as a whole. I stay true to my brand, what you see is what you are 100% going to get!

Time of year, location, and lighting situations will certainly affect the final images making them sometimes warmer, brighter, darker, or more colorful. For the most part, however, my images will always share a similar overall look and feel.

For any events over 5 hours, while I do not require you to put me on your seating chart, I do require that you provide at least one hot meal for me. This is important so that I can stay alert and energized!

Yes, I include a complimentary engagement shoot in each of my traditional wedding packages! This gives us a chance to meet before the big day and helps you see how I work. I have found that this makes the wedding day so much more comfortable and easy!
